Therefore,let no.of 50p coins be 3x

Amt. of money in purse=Rs.75

Re.1=100p

Therefore,Rs 75=75×100=7500p

Sum of 25p and 50p coins=7500p

Therefore,we can say that

25(3x)+50x=7500p

75x+50x=7500p

125x=7500p

Therefore,x=7500/125=60

Hence,x=60

Substituting values for x

Therefore,50p coins= x =60 coins

Therefore,25p coins = 3x = 3(60)coins=180coins
