A push of 180 N and pull of 350 N act simultaneously at a point. Find the resultant of the
forces, if the angle between them be 135º.

R = √{ P ^2 + Q^2 + 2× P ×Q × cos(135)}

=√{180^2 + 350^2 + 2×180×350× cos135}

=256.52 N

tan \alpha  = 180 \div 350 = 0.51 \\  \alpha  = 27.2 \: degree \: w.r.t. \: force \: 350N
