Given : a pyramid has a right angled triangular base and a volume of 160 m³. the lengths of the two shorter sides of the triangular base are 12m and 5m

To Find : height of the pyramid

Solution:

Volume of Pyramid = (1/3) Bh

B =  Area of  Base Triangle

h = Height of Pyramid

 Area of  Base Triangle   = (1/2) * 12 * 5

= 30 m²

Volume of Pyramid = (1/3) Bh

= (1/3)* 30 * h

= 10 h  m³

Volume of Pyramid = 160 m³  given

=> 10 h = 160

=> h = 16

height of the pyramid = 16 m
