As we know that

• Euler's formula = V - E + F = 2

where , E is edges and F is faces

》V - E + F = 2

》V - 8 + 5 = 2

》V - 3 = 2

》v = 2 + 3

》v = 5

Hence , 5 is the vertices of the pyramid
