Question-

A Pythagorean Triplet whose one member is 10 is __________.

Answer-

Phythagorean Triplet (6,8,10)

Explanation-

Three natural numbers m,n and p are said to form a Phythagorean Triplet (m,n,p), if m²+n²=p²

For every natural number m>1,

We have (2m, m²-1 , m²+1) as a Phythagorean Triplet.

Here,  m²+1 = 10

=> m² = 10 - 1

=> m² = 9

=> m = 3

Therefore,  2m = 2×3 = 6

m²-1 = 3² - 1 = 9 -1 = 8

m²+1 = 3² + 1 = 9 +1 = 10

Phythagorean Triplet ( 6,8,10)

6² + 8² = 10²
