A Q. 12. What is the effect of an increase in concentration
of H+ ions ? 1 M HCl or 1 MCH COOH.

1M HCl has higher concentration of H+ ions because HCl is a strong acid while CH3COOH is a weak acid. So HCl dissociate completely in aqueous solution but CH3COOH dissociate partially in aqueous solution according to it's dissociation coefficient.
