Full question :-

Using ruler and compass, construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = CD = 5cm, BC = 4.5 cm, angle B = 45°, angle C = 135°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer :-

1. Using a ruler, draw a line segment AB = 5cm.

2. Then using a protector draw a ray BX at B with B as the endpoint and angle B = 45° cm.

3. Now using a compass or a ruler, measure 4.5 cm, and construct an arc that intersects ray BX at C, so that BC = 4.5 cm.

4. Next then, using a protector and measure 135°, draw a ray CY with C as a endpoint.

5. With the help of a compass and ruler, construct an arc that cuts ray CY at D, so that CD = 5cm.

6. Lastly join A and D to form AD.

A quadrilateral of a given measurement is formed..
