a quadratic equation 2x²-px+15 is given then can we write

p(x)=2x²-px+15
??
•Here what does p(x) stand for?
• And if we use the same variables won't
it create a problem?

☝ p(x) stands for polynomial p which consists of variable 'x'.

☝You know what, quadratic equation with 2 variable is much more difficul to solve than that of one variable.

So ,using single variable would be much easier to solve.
