given roots are
x=5 and x=3
x-5=0 and x-3=0
(x-5)(x-3)=0

 {x}^{2}  - 3x - 5x + 15 = 0 \\ {x}^{2}  \:  - 8x + 15 = 0
is the quadratic equation having roots 5 and 3.
hope you are satisfied.
