sum of roots == -b/a = 2  ⇒ -b = 2a ⇒ b = - 2a

ax² -2ax -8a = 0   know put one of root ..i.e, let x = -2

then ⇒a (4)² -2a(-2)-8a = 0

⇒ 16a -8a -8a = 0
