Step-by-step explanation:

let the zeros of the polynomial be a and b

given

a=4

ab=44

so

4*b=44

b=11

now a=4 and b=11

so

(x-4)*(x-11)

x^2-11x-4x+44

x^2-15x+44 is our required polynomial

Formula for making quadratic polynomial is

f(x) = x*2 - ( alpha + beta )x + alpha × beta

Now , according to question

one zero is given i.e 4 = alpha

by relationship between coefficient and variables

4× beta = 44

beta = 44/4 = 11

so the polynomial is x*2 - 15x + 44 .
