FORMULA FOR CALCULATING THE AREA OF QUADRILATERALS IS 1/2(d)(h1+h2)

GIVEN AREA OF QUADRILATERAL IS 510sq cm

GIVEN LENGTH OF DIAGONAL (d)=30

510=30/2(2h) {h+h=2h}
510=30h
510/30=h
51/3=h
17=h

therefore, the lenth of its corresponding heights each =17cm

Answer:

your answer is 17

Step-by-step explanation:

the corresponding heights means the second diagonal

so area of a rhombus = 1/2 *d1 * d2

= 1/2*30*(h+h) { there are two heights on both side of the first diagnols and are equal}

510 =1/2*30*2h

510*2/30=2h

34=2h

34/2=h

17=h

hence the length of both equal corresponding heights is 17cm each.
