Given :  A quadrilateral is constructed using 2 congruent triangles. Two of its sides are 2 and 3 units.

To Find : What are the possible values of the 3rd side

Solution:

Two of  sides of  triangle  are 2 and 3 units.

Let say third side  = x

Sum of any 2 sides of triangle if greater than third side

Then 2 + 3 > x

=> x < 5

2 + x  > 3

=> x  > 1

3 + x > 2

possible for all value of x

Combing all the result

=>   1 < x  < 5

possible values of the 3rd side = ( 1 , 5 )

integral values are 2 , 3 , 4
