Let the total number of people be X.
A quarter of the total number are adults.
i.e. (x/4)=A
Let the number of children be C.
i.e. C=A+60
Now, X=A+C
=(X/4)+(X/4)+60
=(X/2)+60
i.e. X/2=60
X=120
A=X/4=120/4=30
