Given:-

We are drawing a queen from a deck of 52 playing cards.

To find:-

Probability of getting a queen.

SolutioN:-

Probability:- The mathematical measure of the chance of occurrence of an event is known as its probability.

⇝ As we know there are 4 queens in a deck of 52 cards.

  • Formula of finding probability:- Number of favourable outcomes/ Number of possible outcomes.

Number of favourable outcomes = 4

Number of possible outcomes = 52

Therefore, 4/52 = 1/13

Hence, 1/13 is the probability of getting a queen.
