alpha: alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet. in the system of Greek numerals, it has value of 1.

alpha is used to denote as a root of quadratic equation in algebra too.

beta: in Greek numerals, beta is the second number and has value of 2. in scientific aspects, beta is referred as a stream of unbound energetic electrons

hope this is useful❤❤❤
