strong acids has a large number of H+ ions whether strong base have large no of hydroxide ions (OH- ).

ex of strong acids : sulphuric acid,nitric acid,

ex of strong base: potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide

acid is substance which realise hydronium ion in aqueous solution

it is sour in test

when it react with high reactive metal hydrogen gas is evolve

it turn blue litmus to rad

it numbered 1 to 7 in pH scale

...base

base is substance which realise hydroxyl ion in aqueous solution

it is better in test

it react with metal to form it's hydroxide

it turn red litmus blue

it numbered 7 to 14 in pH scale as all akali are also base

note

pH 7 is neutral generally pure water have pH 7 value
