Logarithms were developed for making complicated calculations simple .

Example:

2^3=8

So, we can write the same thing as:

log 8 to the base 2=3.

Now ,

there are three standard laws of logarithms .

1. Product law:

Log mn to the base a= log m to the base a + log n to the base a.

2. Quotient law:

Log m/n to the base a = log m to the base a- log n to the base a.

3. Power law:

Log m raised to the power n to the base a= n log m to the base a.

Now, let's come to the main question:

apply the laws .
