29295 ways  a candidate can attempt the questions if A question paper consists of three sections 4,5 and 6 questions respectively. and Attempting one question from each section is compulsory

Step-by-step explanation:

A question paper consists of three sections 4,5 and 6 questions respectively

Attempting one question from each section is compulsory

Numbers of ways 4 Questions can be attempted  = 2⁴ = 16

but attempting 0 questions is not allowed

Hence 2⁴ - 1 = 15 ways

Similarly for section with 5 Question = 2⁵ - 1 = 31 ways

Similarly for section with 6 Question = 2⁶ - 1 = 63 ways

Total number of ways = 15 * 31 * 63

= 29295
