A question paper contains 15 questions. 4 marks are given for every correct answer and( –1 )marks are given for every incorrect answer and 0 for questions not attempted.
(i) Mohan gets six correct and four incorrect answers and 5 not attempt. What is his score?
(ii) Hamid attempts all the questions. What is his total score, if only 10 of his answers are correct?

4×(-1) = -4

5×0= 0

24+(-4)+0

24-4+0

20

Mohan's score is 20 marks .

ii) 10×4 = 40

5×(-1)= -5

40+(-5)

40-5

Hamid's score is 35 marks .
