a question paper (MCQ) contains 30 Q's.crrct ans crries 8 marks and the wrong one reduce the mark by 4.a student gets the overall mark 0.find the no:of ans right and wrong.I know that the ans is 10 and 20 but,i need the technique to do this kind of Q's.can eny one give me an equation for this?

8*10-4*20
80-80=0
i have done 8*10 as there are 10 correct and you told that each correct one carries 8 marks and similarly for incorrected one too
or it may be like 4*10--8*5 and 5 question unattempted........
