A question with a big twist.

You are given a button. You're told that this button will randomly kill one-third of the world, which could include you yourself.

The catch is, if you don't press the button, the whole, 100% of humanity dies out.

Would you take it slow and do population reforms, which would have a 25% chance of saving humanity, but won't kill anyone?

Or would you be surer and press the button, killing 2 billion random people, which could include you?

Think deep. Think hard.
Answer big. But don't answer fast.

TheIncorporealKlaus: I'd go for the latter, cuz seriously i ain't in no effin quantum world to depend on 25% chances, so, I'll take the risk of killin myself rather than taking chances

I would take it slow and do population reforms

Namitha475: cause it has 25% of saving humanity so taking it slow is better
Namitha475: but it would kill one tired of humanity
Namitha475: but it would be a peaceful death, right?
