Given, a rabbit runs 400 metres in 40 seconds.

We know that,

Speed = Distance / Time

According to the question,

Speed = (400 / 40) m/s

Speed = 10 m/s

The speed of the rabbit is 10 m/s.

To find out the speed in km/h, we have to multiply the speed by 18/5 .

According to the question,

Speed = (10 × 18/5) km/h

Speed = (2 × 18) km/h

Speed = 36 km/h

The speed of the rabbit in km/h is 36 km/h.
