Given :

  • Initial Velocity = 10m/s
  • Final Velocity = 50m/s
  • Time Taken = 4 sec

To Find :

  • Acceleration of the car.

Solution :

For Acceleration :

Using 1st Equation :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{v=u+at}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{50=10+a(4)}

\longmapsto\tt{50-10=4a}

\longmapsto\tt{40=4a}

\longmapsto\tt{a=\cancel\dfrac{40}{4}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{a=10{m/s}^{2}}

So , The Acceleration of the Car is 10m/s²..

Three Equations of Motion :

  • v = u + at
  • s = ut + 1/2 at²
  • v² - u² = 2as

Here :

  • u = Initial Velocity
  • v = Final Velocity
  • a = Acceleration
  • s = Distance
  • t = Time Taken
