Given problem is to find the acceleration,

Acceleration,a = (Delta V)/t

a = (46.1-18.5)/2.47

a = 11.17 m/s^2

Distance,d = vi*t+1/2*a*t^2

= (18.5)*(2.47)+(1/2)*(11.2)*(2.47)^2

= 45.7+34.17

= 79.87m

Therefore acceleration,a = 11.17m/s^2 and distance,d = 79.87m
