Answer:

Let the radius of the outer circle be R m.

circumference of the outer circle = 2×22/7×R

=)2×22/7×R = 308

=)44/7R = 308

=)R = 308×7/44 = 7×7

=)R = 49

So,the radius of the outer circle is 49m.

Let the radius of the inner circle be r m

circumference of the inner circle = 2×22/7×r

=)2×22/7×r = 264

=)44/7r = 264

=)r = 264×7/44 = 6×7

=)r = 42

So,the radius of the inner circle is 42m.

Area of the full circle = (22/7×49×49)square metre

=7546 square metre

Area of the without circle = (22/7×42×42)square meter

= 5544 square metre

Area of the track = (7546-5544) sq m

= 2002 sq m

Therefore, area of the track is 2002 sq m.

Rate of planting grass = Rs. 30/ sq m

Cost of planting grass on the race track

= Rs.(2002×30) = Rs. 60060

Therefore, cost of planting grass on the racetrack is Rs.60060
