From the Second equation of motion, we have:

★ Substituting the values in the second equation of motion, we get:

s = 0 × 2 + 1/2 × 4 × ( 2 )²

= 0 + 1/2 × 4 × 4

= 1/2 × 16

= 8 m

Hence,the distance covered by a racing car is 8 m .
