A racing car has a uniform acceleration of 4 ms-2. What distance does it cover in 10s after start?

On solving this numerical using acceleration calculator formula, we have given

 a=4m/s2 t=10s

s=unknown

u=0m/s

 Using the acceleration calculator formula including distance, we have the formula, s=ut+1/2at2

Where s= distance covered by the car in meters

t= time taken by car to cover the distance in seconds

u= initial velocity of the racing car is m/s a=acceralation of the racing car

Putting values, s=0*10+1/2*4*(10)2 =0+2*100 =200 m

The car covered 200m in 10s.

Here,

u=0, a= 4ms^-2 , t= 10s

s= ut +1/2 at² = 0 ×10 +1/2 × 4 ×(10)²= 200m

Hope it helps..:-)
