☞Answer:

The distance covered is 200 m.

☞Given :

Uniform acceleration = 4 m/s²

Initial velocity = 0 m/s

Time = 10 sec

☞Solution :

➠a = 4 m/s²

➠t = 10 s

➠u = 0 m/s

Find the velocity after 10 sec.

⇒ v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 m/s + 4 m/s² × 10 s

⇒ v = 40 m/s

Using relation → v² - u² = 2as

  • a = 4 m/s²
  • u = 0 m/s
  • v = 40 m/s

⇒ (40)² - (0)² = 2(4)(s)

⇒ 1600 - 0 = 8s

⇒ 1600 = 8s

⇒ s = 1600/8

⇒ 200 m

Therefore, the distance covered is 200 m.
