Given that the path is 7 M, the diameter of the outside rim is :

140 + (7 × 2) = 154M

The circumference of the outer rim is :

22/7 × 154 = 484meters

The circumference of the inside rim:

22/7 × 140 = 440 meters

484 - 440 = 44 meters
