A radio station frequency is given in the range of 7.5 to 12 MHz.

  • To find the wavelength let the minimum v1=7.5 MHz=7.5×10⁶ Hz
  • The maximum frequency v2= 12×10⁶ Hz
  • We have the formula
  • λ=c/v
  • Put the above wavelength value
  • We get for the first one minimum one wavelength of band is 40 m
  • And for the maximum one is 25 m
  • So the wavelength range is between 40 to 25 m
