A radio station frequency is given in the range of 7.5 to 12 MHz.
- To find the wavelength let the minimum v1=7.5 MHz=7.5×10⁶ Hz
- The maximum frequency v2= 12×10⁶ Hz
- We have the formula
- λ=c/v
- Put the above wavelength value
- We get for the first one minimum one wavelength of band is 40 m
- And for the maximum one is 25 m
- So the wavelength range is between 40 to 25 m
