Given

  • Power (Radio Set) = 60 Watt
  • Time = 50 hours

To Find

  • Electrical Energy consumed

Solution

☯ E = P × t

  • Where P is in kW and t is in hours

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Converting Units :

➞ Power = 60 W

  • 1 kW = 1000 W

➞ Power = 60/1000

➞ Power = 0.06 kW

Electrical Energy Consumed :

➞ E = P × t

  • E = Electrical Energy = ?
  • P = Power = 0.06 kW
  • t = Time = 50 hours

➞ E = 0.06 × 50

➞ E = 3 kWh

∴ The Electrical Energy consumed is 3 kWh

Answer:

Given :-

  • Power = 60 W
  • Time = 50 hours

To Find:-

Energy consumed

Solution :-

E = P × T

E is the Energy

P is Power

T is the Time

E = 60 × 50

E = 3000 W

Now,

We can also write as

1000 W = 1 KW

3000 W = 3000/1000 = 3 kWh
