A radioisotope Technicium, Tc, is useful in medical imaging techniques. A sample initially contains 80.0 mg of Tc. After 24 h, only 5.0 mg remains. What is the half-life of this isotope?

Radioacive decay formula - N(t) = NO(1/2) raise to ¹/T.

N(24) = 80 (1/2) raise to 24/T = 6.005 ≈ 6
