And length of another platform=141m

Time taken=15sec

Difference between distance =141-96

=45m

Time =15-12=3sec

Speed= distance / time

=45/3

=15m/s

Now

Total distance to travel by train to cross the platform
= length of train + length of platform

Distance = speed x time

Length of train + 96= 15 x 12

Length of train =180-96

Length of train =84m
