applying conservation of linear momentum
m1 = 10000 kg
m2 = 10000 kg
u1 = 15 m/sec
u2 = 0 m/sec
M = 10000 +10000 = 20000 kg
v =?
10000(15) + 10000(0) = 20000(V)
150000 =20000 V
V = 150000/20000
common velocity after collision = 7.5m/sec
