As we need to get answer in seconds, so never forget to convert speed into meter per second.

Speed = 45 km/hr = 45× 5/18 m/sec
= 225/3 m/sec=75m/s

Distance = length of train = 200meter

SOLUTION;

speed=distance / time

t=s×d

t=75×200

t=15000s

Answer:

16 seconds

Explanation:

t = d / s

d = 200 m

s = 45 Km/s = ( 45 * 1000 ) / ( 60 * 60 ) = 12.5 m/sec

=> t = 200 ÷ 12.5 = 16 sec
