A railway wagon of mass 2500 kg moving with a velocity of 36 km/hr has a head – on collision with a stationary wagon of mass 3000 kg. If the two wagons move together after collision, calculate their common velocity after collision.​

Final K.E.=K 2

= 21 (M 1+M2 )v 2

= 215000×2 2

=10000J

Loss in K.E=ΔK=K 1 −K 2

=15000
