A rainbow is a meterological event caused when light enters into a
water droplet, slows down and bend as it enters from rarer medium
to denser medium. The light reflects off the inside of the droplet
and separates into its different colours according to their
wavelength. When light exits the droplet, a rainbow is formed.​
