Answer:

S.I = (P x R x T) / 100

= (Rs. 4800 x 10 x 1) / 100

= Rs. 480

Rs. 480 Ram have to Pay.

(ii) When Interest is semi-annually

P = Rs.4800

R = 10% = 10%/2 = 5%

T = 1 years = 1 x 2 years = 2 Years

A = P(1+R/100)t

= Rs. 4800 ( 1+ 5/100)2

= Rs. 4800 ( (100+5)/100)2

= Rs. 4800 (105/100)2

= Rs. 4800 x 105/100 x 105/100

= Rs. 5292

C. I = A - P

= Rs. 5292 - Rs. 4800

= Rs. 492.

Rs. 492 Compound
