Since 200 metres is travelled along the ramp,

Hypotenuse =200

Angle given = 60 degree

Therefore applying trigonometry,

sine x = Hypotenuse/height [Formula]

sin 60 = 200/h

Therefore, h=(sqrt(3)/2)*200=173.2 metres.

The height of the ground is 173.2m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

A ramp makes an angle of 60° with the ground and walk up 200m on the ramp.

As for given data,

Ground look like a triangle.

Where,

Hypotenuse =200m

And,

By using trigonometry,

sin(60)=\frac{h}{H} where h=height and H=Hypotenuse

h=200\times \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2}

h=173.2m

So, The height of the ground is 173.2m
