A rational number 5 upon 12 is equal to the sum of two rational numbers. If one of them is -3 upon 24 what is the other one

so ATQ
 -  \frac{3}{24}  + x =  \frac{5}{12} \\ x =  \frac{5}{12}   +  \frac{3}{24}  \\ x =  \frac{10 + 3}{24}  \\ x =  \frac{13}{24}  \\ so \: the \: other \: number \: is \:  \frac{13}{24}
