Answer :-

In a rational number it can be negative if any one of the number among numenator and denominator is negative and another is positive So, the rational number will also be negative

Example :-

-1/6 , -2/7 , -30/11

If the numenator and Denominator both have positive sign then the rational number will also be positive

Example :-

2/3 = 2/3

If the numerator and denominator both both have negative sign then during division negative sign will cancel out each other .So, the answer, the rational number will be positive
