  1. x x 5 by 2 + 2 by 3 is equal to 7 by 12
  2. 15 X + 4 by 6 is equal to 7 by 12
  3. 42 is equal to 48 + 180 x
  4. 180 x is equal to minus 6

Let the rational be x.

According to the question,

x × (5/2) + 2/3 = 7/12

⇒ 5x/2 + 2/3 = 7/12

⇒ 5x/2 = 7/12 - 2/3

⇒ 5x/2 = (7- 8)/12

⇒ 5x/2 = -1/12

⇒ x = (-1/12) × (2/5)

⇒ x = -2/60

⇒ x = -1/30

Therefore, the rational number is -1/30.
