hey mate!! that's your answer-

let x be the rational number

according to question,

x* 5/2 + 2/3 = -7/2

x * (15 + 4)/6 = -7/2. ( by taking LCM of 2 & 3 we get 6 as denominator)

x* 19 /6 = -7/2

x \: = \frac{ - 7}{2} \times \frac{6}{19}

x = \frac{ - 21}{19}

so rational number = -21/19

Hello !!

Let rational number be X.

According to the question,

X × 5/2 + 2/3 = -7/2

5X/2 + 2/3 = -7/2

15X + 4 = -7×6/2

15X + 4 = -21

15X = -25

X = -25/15

X = -5/3

Hence,

Number = X = -5/3.
