Given :-

  • Angle of Incident is 67°

To find :-

Angle of glancing

SOLUTION:-

We have formula to find the Angle of glancing that is

Angle of incidence + Angle of glancing is 90°

i + α = 90°

where,

  • i is angle of incidence
  • α is angle of glancing

67° +α = 90°

α = 90°-67°

α = 23°

So, the angle of glancing is 23°

Know more :-

  • Angle of incidence = Angle of reflection
  • Incident ray , Normal ray , Reflection ray lie on same plane
  • Angle of deviation is 180- 2i or 180-2r

So , According to the problem ,

Angle of deviation = 180-2i

= 180-2(67)

= 180- 134

= 46°

  • Angle of reflection is 67°
  • Angle of glancing is 23°
  • Angle of deviation is 46°
