refractive index of glass w.r.t water ng/nw =1.22
refractive index of glass wrt to vacuum =1.5
the absolute refarctive index of water is calculated by the formula
ng/nw= ng/na *na/nw
1.12=1.5* na/nw
na/nw=1.12/1.5
nw/na =1.5/1.12
=1.33
refractive index of glass wrt to vacuum =1.5
the absolute refarctive index of water is calculated by the formula
ng/nw= ng/na *na/nw
1.12=1.5* na/nw
na/nw=1.12/1.5
nw/na =1.5/1.12
=1.33
