a ray of light enters into acetone from air. if the refractive index of acetone is 1.36,by what present does the speed of light reduce on entering the acetone ??

Given,
Refractive index of acetone= 1.36
So,
Refractive index=
Speed of light in medium 1÷Speed of light in medium 2
Here,
Medium 1= Air
Medium 2= Acetone
Now,
1.36 = 3*10^8/S.I.M2
S.I.M2 = 3*10^8/1.36
S.I.M2 = 3*10^10/136
S.I.M2 = 2.2*10^9
