A ray of light is incident normally on a plane mirror. Show the ray diagram to indicate the

reflected and incident rays. State the reasons for your answer​

The diagram shows that the incident Ray always travels along the straight path(Ray's always travels along the straight path) and reflected ray will bounce back bcoz the surface of a plane mirror is soft and smooth.

So the incident Ray bounces back.,and that bounced back ray is called reflected ray.
