Refractive index of glass, μ₁ = 1.6
refractive index of air , μ₂ = 1
A/C to question, angle of refraction is twice than angle of incidence
use Snell's law,
μ₁sinФ= μ₂sinФ'
Here, Φ' = 2Ф
∴ 1.6 × sinФ = 1 × sin2Ф
⇒ 1.6 × sinФ = 2sinФ.cosФ
⇒ 1.6 = 2cosФ
⇒0.8 = cosФ
⇒cosФ = 4/5
Hence, Ф = cos⁻¹(4/5) , amke of incidence is cos⁻¹(4/5)
