ng/na = SIN i/ SIN r

1.5=SIN 30°/SIN r

= 1.5=0.5/ SIN r

so,SIN r =0.5/1.5

SIN r = 0.33

so, approx value of 0.33 is SIN 19°

the value of SIN 19° is 0.34

hence,the value of SIN r = SIN 19°
